Bargaining delays costing employees money

Delays in negotiating a new AV enterprise agreement are costing employees around $200 each month.

AV are bound by public sector wage policy which states that they will not pay back pay for any bargaining negotiations that run past the annual increase due date.

Negotiations for a new AV enterprise agreement have now dragged on six months past this date. This means that every day of ongoing negotiations is costing employees money.

Members are saying that enough is enough and it is time that a real deal is put on the table.

It is vital that every employee stands together to make sure that we secure a new agreement that delivers the wages and conditions you deserve.
