On Tuesday 6 May, the unions met with AV to present an overview of our joint log of claims (LOC). The unions have committed to submitting a finalised version next week. AV provided some initial feedback, they indicated they’ll be better placed to respond in more detail once they’ve recieved the final LOC.
Commission Julius Roe, who is facilitating bargaining between the unions and AV, outlined six themes for negotiations. He also noted that many claims relate to specific work groups and will be addressed accordingly throughout the process.
- Classification
- Progression
- Top of Value Range
- Pay Parity
- Translating Employees
- MOU Allowances
- Professional Development & Training
- Wages
- 6% per annum
- Allowances
- Additional Leave (Other than what’s through alignment)
- WFH & Four Day Week
The next bargaining meeting is this Friday 9 May and initial discussions regarding Progression and MOU Translating Claims will likely commence.
