This week is Women’s Health Week – Your voice Your choice 📣🩺❤️

UWU is proud to support this important campaign.

Every day, under a buckling healthcare system, staff shortages and funding cuts, our emergency responders feel the weight of responsibility in providing for the community. 🚑🚨😟

For many paramedics, call takers and dispatchers and ambulance workers, this has meant placing secondary importance on their own health and wellbeing.

As we commemorate this week, we encourage our members across the profession to put themselves first and take the time to get their health checked. 🧘‍♀️🌸

Whether it’s having the conversation with your medical professional you’ve been putting off, or signing up to one of the events at Women's Health Week, use this time to educate and empower yourself to take control of your mental, physical and sexual health. 🧠🏃‍♀️🔬
