The current staffing crisis has highlighted how much ESTA staff are at the epicentre of the current Ambulance resourcing crisis. The impact of bare bones resourcing is being felt equally by AV and ESTA staff and the delays in the ESTA staffing review have exacerbated the problem.
As stress levels are currently considerable, many members have highlighted the resultant Occupational Health and Safety issues. The AEAV have written to ESTA to outline the need for additional HSR’s in Ambulance. A copy of this correspondence is available HERE.
