Gippsland Bullying Seminar – 8 October 2020

The AEAV is conducting information and training seminars on 8 October 2020 via Zoom on workplace bullying and harassment.

Workplace bullying is verbal, physical, social, or psychological abuse by your employer (or manager), another person or group of people at work. The following examples may be considered bullying:

Persistent or egregious use of abusive, insulting, or offensive language
Purposefully excluding, isolating, or marginalizing a person from normal work activities
Establishing unrealistic timelines or unrealistic performance expectations
Inconsistently following or enforcing rules, to the detriment of an employee

This training seminar is open to all Ambulance Victoria staff in the region, regardless of role or affiliation.

Bullying and Harassment can be a challenging issue for workers to deal with. During the seminar you will be provided with tools such as fact sheets and diaries to help you identify, survive, and eliminate workplace bullying.

For more information or a confidential conversation about your individual circumstances, contact the AEAV on: (03) 9287 1713 or by email at: [email protected]
